JUDO – Prevention of Legionnaires’ Disease
Reliable protection against re-infection by biofilm

With the use of the JUDO JLS-Duo, JUDO offers economical protection against Legionnaires’ Disease on the basis of chlorine dioxide.

JUDO JLS-Duo:

» versatile-acting disinfection agent to the requirements of drinking water regulations and EN 12671

» excellent bactericide (e.g. against E. coli), sporicide, viricide and algicide properties

» stronger and quicker disinfectant effect in comparison to conventional chlorine products

» disinfectant effect largely independent of pH-level, thereby ensuring constant disinfection

» long-lasting bacteriostatic effect

» breakdown of the “biofilm” on pipe and container interior walls

» no formation of dangerous breakdown products such a chloramines, THM’s, chlorphenols

» odour and taste materials are either completely converted or not created at all

JLS-Duo JUDO JLS-Duo:                                                                 
Due to its long-term action, JUDO JLS-Duo works both as a preventive measure, as well as the actual disinfection of pipes and containers (see drinking water regulations, DVGW Notices W 291 and 552).

The technical requirements are restricted to the installation of a JUDO WADOS (JWT-HC) dosing pump system. The well-known problem of dosing spontaneously vaporising media is circumvented by an innovative dosing system which enables even the smallest amounts to be dosed accurately. The special technical feature is the patented double-membrane technology with preliminary supply chamber and integrated calibration system. This high level of reliability affords a previously unknown level of process safety in dosing and disinfection tasks.
