The periodic checking of the water quality in supply water, boiler water and condensate is amongst one of the most important tasks carried out in the boiler-house. Water examinations are often neglected because suitable sampling equipment is not available.

The collection of hot water samples is not only dangerous, but inevitably also leads to inaccurate and false analysis results. The measurement of the oxygen bonding agent content is also impossible, since at high temperatures, an immediate reaction takes place with the oxygen in the air. In the case of boiler water, the evaporation loss must be taken into account when calculating the results.

The correct result of the water examination can only be achieved if a sampling device is available to match the operating conditions.
