Small particles, but a major effect
The drinking water often has to travel a long way to get to you. Unwanted particles can often be carried along by this process, for instance when incrustations and deposits break away from the inner pipe walls, or when the water is contaminated by earth or sand particles as a result of work on the public supply system.

Pitting corrosion – a much-underestimated danger
In unprotected installations consisting of metal pipes (galvanised steel, copper ...), foreign particles can cause local corrosion or pitting. This can lead to pipe ruptures, even without advance warning by brown water.

JUDO LongLife filters stop particles
The LongLife filter family prevents unwanted particles being carried along with the water into household systems. Your sanitation specialist will be able to install the right filter for you directly after your water meter – quickly and easily. He will carry out the work in accordance with DIN 1988, which specifies or recommends filters for new and old buildings.

Save water and money – year after year
The JUKO LongLife filter will lower your water consumption by means of the built-in pressure-reducer. At a daily water requirement of approx. 140 litres per person and a four-person household, this comes to a total of approx. 200 m³ of drinking water per year. By reducing the water pressure from 6 to 4 bar, savings of approx. 15% can be made. At a cubic metre price (incl. waste water) of 4 Euro, this corresponds to an annual saving of around 120 Euro.
The pressure-reducer can be individually set, and compensates for the pressure fluctuations and peaks in the public supply network, thereby ensuring a constant pressure in your domestic water system and reducing wear to modern technical equipment and other fittings.
