The water flow can be shut off or opened again by pressing the "Open/close" switch. The corresponding lamp flashes during the opening or closing process. For normal operation, the green lamp should be on. When the ZEWA-WASSERstop is closed, the red lamp comes on.
The ZEWA-WASSERstop closes under the following circumstances:
» When the maximum water quantity is exceeded (adjustable to 150 l, 300 l, 600 l or 1200 l, removed from the system without interruption). » When the maximum water flow is exceeded, which can be set to 1 m³/h, 2 m³/h, 4 m³/h or 8 m³/h. » Removal of a quantity of water that exceeds a preset removal time without interruption, adjustable to 0.5 hrs., 1 hr., 3 hrs. or 12 hrs » Holiday setting: if no water is removed from the system for over 72 hours, ZEWA-WASSERstop shuts off the water. The holiday setting should only be activated if it is established in advance that no water will be needed during the holiday, e.g. for automatic watering systems, water-softening systems, watering flowers etc.
Display of the cause of shut-off: When the ZEWA-WASSERstop has closed, the cause of the shut-off can be determined from the periodic flashing signal of the red lamp.
